Hello everyone out there!

This is my very first post at freeblogit.com! I cannot say anything special about me really (its is not very interesting anyway) but this blog I have made for all you Liverpool fans out there!

Actually this is a part of my school program. One part of the program is called CAS. C=creativity, A=action, and S=service. This is a C activity for me, and I will try to spend some hours working with my blog, at least a couple of minutes now and then, to both work off a bit of my CAS (50 hours of C, 50 A and 50 S) here!

My favourite players are Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Daniel Agger, and Javier Mascherano, but mostly I like the rest of the squad as well (at least at the moment as John Arne Riise, finally is sold)…

However, Steven Gerrard is my personal number 1. Our number 8 (put it on the side and we have infinity: ∞, which actually suits Gerrard and his tireless play style) and captain is the heart of today’s Liverpool, if you ask me. What I see in him that, in my eyes, makes him my favourite is his leadership qualities, his calm, the sense of goal, his tackles (oh, yes!), and the fact that he is a Liverpool product! Advancing through the youth ranks and finally reaching the very world top – pretty impressive, ey?

Of course I myself am a very big football fan, and my team is Liverpool Football Club. I know our results in the Premier League has not been world-class now, but in the old League we won it 18 times! As football is one of few aspects of life (which I will, nicely, call it)  that still can be affected and regulated due to tradition I think today’s Liverpool squad can win the League again! Rafa showed the class in 2005 when we won the Champions League in Istanbul, that fantastic night, and against Milan we were the better team! This year we were unlucky that Riise scored that own-goal at Anfield, otherwise we would probably have played that final.

Yes, there are people who think Liverpool will not win the Premiership this year, nor the Champions League, but I think I believe! And, quoting our song (not Celtic’s…):

“Walk on, with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone”

I have had L FC in my heart for some years now, and frankly, I think it will stay put for the rest of my life as well. As you say:

“Once a red – Always a red.”
